Movies That Made Us Gay

Aug 7, 2020

It’s a buddy, caper, heist, road movie made for, you know... ladies.  We watched Outrageous Fortune (1987) with our friend Greg Lightner and we agree - you boff Romeo over Hamlet any day. Bette Midler and Shelley Long play an Odd Couple at each other throats and apparently they kept it up behind the scenes as well.  We talk about the drama behind who got top billing and who spilled tea on Oprah but lets face it - the real reason we watched this movie over and over again was to learn Bette’s monologues.  Calling actors “bulls*****rs who get paid” in a Brooklyn accent definitely made us gay. It’s Episode 59 of Movies That Made Us Gay!
