It’s Christmas in the Playhouse and we’re gonna have a lot of fun! We watched Christmas at Pee-wee’s Playhouse (1988) with our friend Jared Anderson and we’ve gotta call you back - we’ve got Dinah Shore on the other line! This special episode of the Playhouse is filled with more queer and camp icons than John Waters’ address book. Cher, Charo, Grace Jones, k.d. lang, Little Richard and more are all here in their 80’s glam prime and we’re still blinded by the sequins. The jokes are still fresh, the Spencer’s Gifts aesthetic is on and popping and the soundtrack SLAPS.
